Senior Project Engineer
Since 1998 Les’s current position as Senior Project Engineer has involved primary responsibility for performing a variety of Professional Engineer activities including engineering analysis (such as describing and directing survey requirements), planning and design of recreation facilities, watershed hydrological analysis, infrastructure and project designs, site development plans and specifications, environmental impact studies, & regulatory permits. In 1990 he retired from Federal Service following a 33-year career with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Planning and Engineering roles in Huntington and San Francisco Districts. He served as Assistant Director (GS-15), Planning Division (SPD) for 12 years with executive level management. Managed a technical staff of twenty-five engineers, biologists, economists, landscape architects & oceanographers. He is familiar with the USACE organization, functions, and regulations and applies this knowledge when designing facilities that require USACE approvals.
