USDA Forestry Service, Ironton District
Surveys are conducted for the Department of Agriculture USDA Forest Service in the Ironton District of the Wayne National Forest in the Eastern Region. Surveys involve all of the deed and record research, planning, reconnaissance, and adjoiner contact necessary to conduct Boundary Surveys of U.S. owned properties. Projects include setting of control points with GPS, traverse and data collection, corner monumentation with references, line marking, plats of survey, property descriptions and reports. Riparian rights are addressed and encroachments located when necessary. Survey teams tie in all recovered monumentation and improvements necessary to analyze and determine the Boundaries.
